The Clean Cooking Alliance (CCA) works with a global network of partners to build an inclusive industry that makes clean cooking accessible to the three billion people who live each day without it.
Achieving universal access to clean cooking solutions requires scaling up a range of technologies and business models. CCA’s industry development work is built around three core pillars:
The Cooking Industry Catalyst is a global industry development program launched by CCA in 2020. The program has three components: Venture Catalyst, Demand Catalyst, Market Catalyst.
CCA's primary vehicle for mobilizing investment is the Catalytic Finance Accelerator, a coalition of investors and other actors representing the clean cooking, carbon, and financial markets.
The Venture Accelerator aims to nurture early-stage ventures that are poised to tackle the most pressing challenges currently preventing clean cooking solutions from scaling up.
CCA is supporting Haitian companies to increase the sales of cleaner and more efficient cookstoves and fuels, and driving the consumer demand and policy necessary to transform the clean cooking market.
CCA is leading the development of a country action plan for transforming the cookstoves and fuels market in Nepal, helping the government meet its target of universal access to electricity and electricity-based cooking by 2030.
SPARK+ Africa is a pioneering impact investment fund launched by Enabling Qapital and the Clean Cooking Alliance to channel debt and equity financing to enterprises that manufacture, distribute and finance clean cooking solutions across Sub-Saharan Africa.
