Dan Dredger
Manager, Advocacy & Communications
Dan Dredger is the Manager for Advocacy & Communications at the Clean Cooking Alliance (CCA). He is responsible for helping to lead CCA's global communications and advocacy efforts, including overseeing and developing compelling content across formats and channels; tracking and reporting on digital analytics; managing CCA's digital properties; and developing and implementing CCA's digital campaigns, among other responsibilities. Prior to joining CCA, Dan served as the social media manager, brand strategist, and podcast producer for a D.C.-based retail startup. He also worked as Communications Associate for The Richard Dawkins Foundation for Reason & Science, an international science advocacy organization, where he assisted in developing and implementing cross-channel social media campaigns. Dan spent many formative years in East Asia – first in South Korea as an educator and assistant to director Lee Myung-se, and then as a Peace Corps volunteer in China, where he taught undergraduate- and graduate-level English majors and trained local secondary school teachers. Dan holds a Master of Public Policy (MPP) from Duke University and degrees in Secondary Education (MEd) and Film and Media Production (BA) from Arizona State University.
