Scarlett Kao

Senior Associate, Strategy & Development

Scarlett Kao is the Senior Associate of Strategy & Development at the Clean Cooking Alliance (CCA). Prior to joining CCA, she worked at New Engen, a digital marketing agency, where she managed advertising campaigns for Biossance, a sustainable beauty retailer. Prior to that, she worked at Coty, a global beauty conglomerate, supporting marketing programs across its portfolio of luxury brands. She has also interned with Sustainable Capital Advisors, a D.C.-based cleantech consultancy, the U.S. Department of State in Poland, and the Ministry of Economic Affairs in Taiwan. Scarlett holds an M.A. in International Relations from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, and a B.A. in International Relations – Economics from Wellesley College.
