Gathoni is the Manager for Operations and Compliance for the Market Strengthening team at the Clean Cooking Alliance. She has over six years of legal and corporate governance experience having worked in private practice in various firms and at Absa Bank Kenya PLC before transitioning into consulting where she focused on helping small and medium companies navigate the legal landscape. She holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa, a PostGraduate Diploma from the Kenya School of Law, and a Master's Degree in International Relations from United States International University-Africa.
